Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American writer of cookbooks, who has been awarded Emmy award. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. It will continue to run for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career in writing nuclear energy policies and budgets to the White House. In the beginning, she was awed by the intellectual rigors of the job, but then lost interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty grocery store. It took her 18 years to make the shop extremely popular before selling it as well as grabbing the pen to begin writing her first cookbook. There were other cookbooks to follow, as did magazine columns. Later, her Food Network television show too began its run and was an instant hit. The range of products includes the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials as well as storage containers. Ina she never went to cookery class nor did she employed in a restaurant. Ina is completely self-taught. Her casual approach to entertaining and her easy culinary style is well-known. Her most famous recipes are the lemon chicken skeillet in Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
