Ina Garten is well-known American chef and author of a cookery book. She is also the Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002 and aired 27 seasons through 2020. Ina Garten began her professional journey at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. She initially loved the intellectual stimulation of her job, but soon stopped her interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. The Food Network TV show also made its debut with great success. She also sells a range of cooking and food items to equipment and storage containers. Ina was never a part of any cookery schools, or employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Her relaxed approach to entertaining and her easy style of cooking are widely known. Some of her most famous recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
