Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is well-known worldwide. One of the projects she's been a part of and has enjoyed the most popularity is the Disney series he Wizards of Waverly Place. The full name of Selena Marie Gomez is Selena Marie Gomez. She was born on 22nd July, 1992 located in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett is her mother and Ricardo Gomez is her father. Her mother was barely 16 when Selena arrived. When she was just 9 years old Selena was able to make her debut in the showbiz industry as she portrayed Gianna on Barney and her Friends. She was among many children to have played alongside Barney, the well-known anthropomorphic pink dinosaur. Selena was a part of many episodes of seasons 7 & 8 between 2001 - 2003. Selena Gomez was not the only singer who sang on Barney and His Friends from 2001 to the year 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group too. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned for other films and programs however, she did not achieve any luck. After the departure of the show Selena was able to audition for roles in various other film and television shows, but wasn't very successful.
