Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for several years. Sara Ramirez was raised by an American mother, and encountered a number of racial slurs that made her feel unwelcome. In her 9th grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim during an audition. This not only increased her confidence but her dreams were changed. The 22-year-old earned an education from the Julliard School in New York. When she turned 23, she started her career in Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. The most notable achievement of her career was with her portrayal of The Lady Of The Lake in Spamalot's original Broadway production. Not only did she receive the Tony Award, but her performance was also highly praised by the critics. Following that she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. Also, she is a well-known performer and has produced an extended show. Additionally, she works as an LGBT activist.
